Medium size six axis industrial robot with a payload of 20 kg featuring a hollow wrist which makes it suitable for arc welding and cutting but can also eventually be used for other applications which require inner air or gas lines to the tool fixed on the flange of axis number six allowing an outstanding manouverability.
The ARC Mate 120iC series is a six-axis, modular construction, electric servo-driven family of robots designed for precise, high-speed welding and cutting. Based on its simple and reliable construction, the ARC Mate 120iC and ARC Mate 120iC/10L provide accurate and consistent path performance. The robot controller and easy-to-use ArcTool® software provide reliable performance with high productivity.
The ARC Mate 120iC robot series has a process speci c design that protects the weld torch cable from the wire feeder to the torch goose neck, reducing cable wear and minimizing wire feeder issues. This simpli ed routing prevents cable interference with parts and tooling and allows of ine programs to be generated and tested without compensating for the torch cable.

The R-30iA controller needs less than 1 minute to start (and even less with the basic software only).
In case of power failure:
Robot program restarts much quicker than with any PC-based program (non-Windows operating system).
The resume hotstart function allows restarting safely and continuing production after power failure: no need to re-do the whole movement.
Unique resume tolerance check: in case of any program interruption, the robot automatically memorises its position before failure. When the program continues, it checks whether the robot has been moved outside of a preset tolerance. This avoids unexpected movements and collisions.
Increased up-time (robot availability)
Thanks to enhanced hardware and software capacities, the R-30iA controller offers much better robot vibration control. This greatly reduces the robot’s acceleration and deceleration times, leading to reduced cycle times.
